The front wing increases the load on the front, while the new windshield, that in this generation starts from the central element of the suggestive Aprilia triple headlight and extends onto the instrumentation, has been studied in minute detail to reduce turbulence on the rider's torso to a minimum.

The 52 mm throttle bodies and the adoption of the upper crankcase and crankshaft of the RSV4 are new.

This evolution, in addition to confirming the very close relationship of the Tuono with its sporty sister (always the pride of this family), allows this generation to become the most powerful Tuono flagship ever built with a maximum power of 180 HP at 11,800 rpm, while the torque stands at 121 Nm at 9,650 rpm.
